Unlike the driver-only memory system in the VF 9 Plus, the Range Rover has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position and outside mirror angle and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.
The Range Rover’s standard Passive Keyless Entry allow you to unlock the doors from any outside door handle, open the cargo door, and start the vehicle, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Passive Entry standard on the VF 9 doesn’t offer a sensor on the rear doors, so you’ll have to reach a front handle to unlock the rear door.
Heated windshield washer nozzles are optional on the Range Rover to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The VF 9 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.
To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Range Rover has a standard rear speed-sensitive intermittent wiper with a full on position. The rear wiper standard on the VF 9 only has an intermittent setting, so in a hard rain visibility isn’t as good.
In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Range Rover has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The VF 9 doesn’t offer headlight washers.
The VF 9 Plus’ cornering lamps activate a lamp on the front corner when the turn signal is activated. The Range Rover’s optional adaptive cornering lights turn the actual headlight unit up to several degrees, depending on steering wheel angle and vehicle speed. This lights a significant distance into corners at any speed.
To better shield the driver’s vision, the Range Rover has a standard driver’s side dual-element sun visor that can block glare from two directions simultaneously (Range Rover also offers optional passenger side dual sun visors). The VF 9 doesn’t offer a secondary sun visor.
The Land Rover Range Rover has a standard Homelink wireless remote control system for garage door operation and device management, conveniently located on the rear view mirror. Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. VinFast charges extra for Homelink® on the VF 9.
The Range Rover is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the VF 9, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the Range Rover offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the VF 9.
HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the Range Rover equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The VF 9, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Land Rover Range Rover empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.
The Range Rover has a 115-volt a/c outlet on the center console, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The VF 9 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
